Two things happen while your trucks are on the road: the dispatch must be reported to the national registry, and you want to know where the trip actually is. Fail Fast handles both through workflows — the RNDC report and the GPS providers are workflow nodes you assemble to fit your operation.

RNDC reporting

Dispatches — your remittances (remesas) and manifests (manifiestos) — are reported to RNDC (Registro Nacional de Despachos de Carga), the Ministry of Transport’s registry, using the RNDC workflow node. The registry’s responses are recorded on your records, so you can verify each dispatch’s registration status and act on rejections.

Fleet monitoring

Trip information flows in from connected GPS and tracking providers through workflow nodes:
  • Monitor — tracking and dispatch integration.
  • Satrack — retrieve a vehicle’s last location, or its events for a date range.
  • Integrador Transporte — a generic node for other transport tracking providers.
Trip manifests and trip events — locations and milestones — arrive through these nodes, and realtime alerts surface new trip events on the relevant tables, so operators see movement as it happens without refreshing. Trip events can also carry settlement concepts. When they do, the amounts they represent feed the carrier settlement — see Transport billing and settlement.

Setting it up

Setup happens in Workflows: you build workflows that use the RNDC and provider nodes, with credentials for your provider accounts. See Nodes for how workflow nodes are configured and Credentials for storing your provider access securely.

Set up a tracking workflow

In Workflows, create a workflow using the node for your provider — Monitor, Satrack, or Integrador Transporte — and connect it with the credentials for your provider account. The workflow brings trip manifests and trip events into your transport tables.

Check a trip's events

Open the trip’s records in your Programs menu and review its events — locations and milestones reported by the provider. Realtime alerts highlight new events as they arrive, and RNDC responses on the dispatch documents confirm registration status.
The tracking providers available to you depend on your workspace’s integrations. If a provider node is missing, check with your workspace administrator.

Limitations

  • Trip events arrive only from providers you have connected through workflows with valid credentials.
  • RNDC registration status reflects the registry’s recorded responses — verify status on the dispatch documents rather than assuming a report succeeded.
