What lives in the tree
Two kinds of items appear under Programs:- Pages — block-based screens holding tables, forms, reports, and dashboards. See Build pages with blocks.
- Workflows — automations you can open and edit from the tree. See Workflows.
Create a page
1
Open the create menu
Hover over the Programs header in the sidebar and select the + button.
2
Choose what to create
Pick Create page (or Create workflow if you’re building an automation).
3
Build the page
The new page opens in the block editor. Add a title and start composing with blocks — see Build pages with blocks.
Reorganize the tree
1
Drag to reorder
Drag an item up or down to change its position among its siblings.
2
Drag to nest
Drop an item onto another item to nest it underneath, building sections and sub-pages.
3
Collapse when it gets long
Use the collapse-all control that appears when you hover over the Programs header to fold the whole tree at once.
Restrict a page to specific roles
1
Open the item's menu
Open the context menu on the page in the Programs tree.
2
Choose Permissions
Select Permissions and choose which roles can see the item.
3
Check the children
The permission applies to the item’s children too — everything nested under a restricted page is restricted with it.
Other item actions
- Delete — remove an item from the tree via its context menu. Like Permissions, this action is permission-gated, so not everyone sees it.
- Duplicate — workflow items also offer a duplicate action, handy for iterating on an automation without touching the original.
What you can do in the tree depends on your permissions. If an action doesn’t appear for you, ask a workspace administrator.
